Donald Trump stated the US has secured majority management of greater than 65 billion barrels of Venezuelan oil.
In a publish on Fact Social on Friday, Trump stated the US has reached “THE BIGGEST OIL DEAL IN WORLD HISTORY” with interim Venezuelan President Delcy Rodríguez and personal corporations, and that the settlement would come “without charge to the American Taxpayer.”
“This Historic Transaction MORE THAN DOUBLES American Oil Reserves,” Trump wrote, including that it could considerably decrease gasoline costs.
The White Home has not launched the settlement or defined which corporations are collaborating, how “management” is outlined, or how shortly the oil might attain international markets.
The announcement follows the seize of Nicolás Maduro in January and Trump’s push for American oil producers to rebuild Venezuela’s deteriorated power trade. Trump beforehand stated corporations would spend at the least $100 billion on the trouble.
